WAnderlust Style
WANDERLUST - a strong longing to wander.
Why do I love this German expression?
Perhaps because it reminds me of a childhood spent hiking though Bavarian woods collecting wildflowers and fashioning rucksacks out of a sweater…
Or maybe because it describes my life still, from a house filled with travel souvenirs to my DIY camper van.
WANDERLUST is personal to me, and I hope it is personal to you and that is why you have come here, to me, to PASPALUM. For a little travel-inspired Boho magic. To reminisce about a past journey or to anticipate a new adventure on the horizon.
My clients have all counted on me to transport them in this way. I remember several young Balkan couples who, far from home, counted on me to offer their wedding some much-missed Mediterranean romance; a glamorous matron whose family hired me to surround her 65th birthday with memories of her travels to the Middle East; a trend-setting professional wishing to rescue a pandemic-canceled trip to Tulum; a mom gifting her 15-year old daughter a glimpse of the Mexican cruise tickets that awaited her and her friends, and so the list goes on…
To this end I have created the preset styles below. Inspired by some of my favorite global destinations, they are a collection of imported linens and artisanal decor, hand-crafted picnic furnishings, and in-house designed fresh florals. Each look is included in your Wanderlust Home & Garden Picnic package, and available for up to 30 guests. Nusa Bali is also available as a group beach picnic experience.

Amalfi
Mediterranean aqua and teal meet Old World tapestry prints, weathered wood, and sunny lemon accents for an edited interpretation of Italy’s most romantic coastline. Pair it with a salumi grazing board, Italian jazz, and prosecco for a beautiful celebration on the bay.
-
Laguna
Indigo Shibori tie-dye meets earth-toned kilims, macramé, and copper décor for the ultimate Surfer chic statement. Youthful and classic, handcrafted and vintage - this picnic wants to live in the sand with a Brian Wilson soundtrack and grilled fish tacos.
-
Sayulita
Riviera Maya’s raw aesthetic meets the Mid-Century tropical cool of Mexico’s Yucatan. Jungle greens, modern ceramics, and bold embroidery make a sophisticated contrast against terra cotta tile motifs and rustic serapes - perfect for an anniversary dinner of shrimp ceviche and Mezcal Palomas.
-
Coco Plum
Cottage-core meets Old Florida in this feminine mint and peach-hued picnic, complete with chintz, cane accents, and botanical motifs. Tailor-made for a Mother’s Day brunch, elegant bridal shower, or Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea, this picnic celebrates our own tropical backyard, with nostalgic echoes of 1920s-era Miami.

Cappadocia
Spice is in the air, when burgundy tapestries and Majorelle blue mingle with gold filigree, fuchsia florals, and kumquat orange. Inspired by the gemstone hues and woven wares of a Turkish bazaar, this picnic is made for opulent celebrations. We recommend completing the effect with lush fruit bowls and mezze boards.

A beachy natural white & tan palette seamlessly blends with bamboo, shell applique, and tropical foliage in South Sea-inspired picnic. Whether you’re planning a sunny bridal event or yoga-related spa retreat, this relaxed setup makes a serene pairing with healthy fruit bowls and Asian-inspired fare.
